Happy Friday Friends!

This past week was wonderfully relaxing with a few extra days off to enjoy the 4th of July! I hope you all had a fun holiday and were able to catch some amazing firework shows! I know I did and indulged in some pretty delicious food as well, so back in the gym it is for me.
This coming weekend, I am looking forward to spending time with some friends. R and I are still so close with our college besties, this includes ATS, and love when we get the chance to spend time with them. As we grow older we find ourselves with less and less time free, and it’s always tough when it ends up being weeks before we see our buddies again, especially since they are beginning to have babies themselves. It’s so weird to think that we used to spend everyday together, living in the same college townhouses and even eating most meals together. I miss Sundays the most. It would usually begin with meeting up at the campus cafeteria, Cheney, to eat a HUGE brunch together, then on occasion I would join R and his roommates in grabbing individual pints of ben & jerry’s at the campus store before heading back to their Townhouse where we wouldn’t move until it was time for bed. When we were hungry again, we would order Wings from our favorite place – always the boneless Honey BBQ flavor with extra blue cheese! – and all continue to talk & laugh about the funny things that happened that weekend, and us girls would check every single photo we took (usually about a 100 pictures lol) and post on facebook to share with the world. This is all before instagram when facebook albums were the cool thing to do!
I am looking forward to spending time with my buddies this weekend, now as adults who put on more than sweat pants and who actually care about what we are eating. Although we may still take about 100 pictures together this weekend, I cannot wait to share more memories!
Cheers to another good week!
