Living in New England in the Fall is like a dream, we have so many trees changing colors, and because we are near the mountains we have incredible views of it all! Robert and I have lived in Western MA, for about 8 years now and have really felt it become our home. Robert is originally from Long Island and always lived about 10 minutes from a beach. At first he found living closer to the mountains than the beach a little tough, but after a few fall seasons here he has started warming up to the colors, fresh seasonal smells, and incredible views from our beautiful home. These past few days, and it looks like most of the week ahead, is calling for some cooler weather that is beginning to feel like fall, could an early fall be on its way?!
With cooler weather just around the corner I’ve been researching the best transitional pieces for your Fall wardrobe…and off the shoulder is a sure favorite! My sweater is from a local boutique in Noho, but I love this OTS sweater too, it’s super cozy and shows off just the right amount of skin to keep your look stylish and sophisticated. Here I styled this very versatile sweater with dark denim, a simple shoulder bag, an initial necklace and my go-to sunnies! This top is super soft, comes in other color options, and can be worn a few different ways. Off both shoulders, off one shoulder or cowl neck. I would recommend styling this top with white or blue skinny jeans or cut off shorts. Shoe options can be either flat sandals, ankle booties or even knee-high boots as it gets cooler!
