Starting back after the New Year, in late January to be exact - I decided (after much convincing from my work & now fitness bff, Allison) to join ClassPass and really get in shape this summer. While I'd love to tell you I magically lost 15LB and feel amazing I will be honest...working out with our work hours is a real challenge. If you've followed along with S2N for awhile you probably have come to realize anything outside of work is a struggle these days for me, due to my long hour. I wanted to make working out a priority so I agreed to take on this fitness journey with AK (Allison). I've always been one of those people... If I look good, I feel good and in turn I thought it would make my work / life balance make more sense.
Fast forward to today, the end of June - I have taken 58 workout classes - averaging about 11 classes a month, which I think is an amazing accomplishment for me. I overall feel about 80% better and more energized each day. I workout very early in the morning so I am able to get to work by 7:30am ...yes, some days this makes me crash by about 4PM, but all in all workout has become a part of my life and I am not about to quit this lifestyle. I would recommend ClassPass to EVERYONE who loves classes vs. those of you who just love to hop on a treadmill and thats all you need. Growing up my life consisted around dance, cheerleading, sleep and school - I was extremely active but I was never one of those people who could head into a gym and "make the most of it"...I'm more like one of the people who dresses cute and goes to the gym to stand around, LOL. So, since ClassPass is ALL CLASSES - I knew it was for me!! If someone is giving me direction I am able to put 110% into the class as I want to be the best version of myself and be portrayed to be the best in the class. The other thing I LOVE about ClassPass is you can try a different class everytime if you wanted to, having the ability to have variety when working out is everything to me! If I am traveling, on set, feel like working out last minute - all I have to do is hop on the app or ClassPass.com, filter by my current location, time I want to workout and book a class! Yes, It is that easy! You can also choose the level you want each month, I am on the 10-Class Plan, which will give me 10-Classes per month at a set price, classes do not roll over, but I find that to be helpful to ensure I am working out as much as I would like. On the 10-Class Plan you can workout at the same studio up to 3x per month or go to 10 different studios if you would like! If you are in the Hoboken / NYC Area you MUST check out these studio - these are just some of my fav's I can't get enough of! (Bar Method, Sal Anthony's Movement Salon, Monster Cycle, Physique57, 4th Street Pilates) Living in Hoboken and working in NYC, this has been so helpful!!
