With the new year here I wanted to really step up my shoe game and as you all know, I LOVVVE shoes and already have many many pairs. But this year I want to add quality shoes that allow me to change an entire outfit with just one shoe!
- My first choice was shockingly a flat, I know I know me in flats hahahaha! But honestly I wanted to widen my horizon and cannot be happier! These floral embossed leather loafer slide on Aura mules are amazing. They are so comfortable and easy, I can throw them on last minute to run errands or to head to dinner and know I still have a classic style. Okay its official, I also love flats!
- Now for my next shoe choice I went with one that would scream Karissa from a mile away – Glitter, glitter shoes! This Pointed Toe Cammila Smoking Slipper comes in a few color choices, and I must say that is the hardest decision. I chose black but just might get them in silver as well, knowing me I might not stop there, because I can always find a special occasion to wear glitter!
- I knew I wanted a black pair of booties, so I started searching the always favorable Steve Madden, and found this striking pair of Austin Booties at Nordstrom. I also love them in the cognac color, but knew I needed a black pair. I feel that between the topstitching and rich leather color these shoes look chic and lavish. Since I have purchased this pair they have sold out, so I am including this great pair of taupe Adelphi Booties by Steve Madden that I wear constantly.
- My shoe finale was a fun purchase! Well gift, thanks to my stylish mother-in-law. I have had my eye on these OTK Saffron boots by Kristen Cavallari for a few months now, and am so excited about them! You might be able to tell with these choices that I have a love for a pointed toe, these boots are no different, with the block heel they are also comfortable to walk around town in, even at 4 inches. I ordered these in the grey color because I wanted something standout, and they are just so pretty!!
I am starting the new year off on the right foot (haha corny joke!) In all seriousness, I am excited for all my shoe potential for 2017! Here’s to a new year, a new you and many many more shoes!!
